Tim Loperfido is a fiction writer from New Jersey. His debut short story collection, Like There’s Ever a Choice, is forthcoming from Cornerstone Press in 2027.

A first-generation and nontraditional college student, Tim attended community college for six years before transferring to San Diego State University and majoring in English. Along the way, he worked jobs at movie theaters, driving limos, pouring beer, and tutoring writers, experiences that still inform his work today.

Later, at New Mexico State University, Tim earned an MFA in fiction. Now, he teaches writing at Penn State University.

Read Tim’s short stories in The MacGuffin, Potomac Review, Puerto del Sol, and Grand Journal.
